2012 Witness the Fitness 5K

We had a great turnout this year! About 125 people ran/walked the 5K and 1 mile. There were concessions with snow cones, popcorn, water, & Gatorade. Information booths gave spectators plenty to do and see…booths included: Texas Dentistry for Kids, Kaufman County Sheriff’s Dept., Kids Care Therapy, and Kaufman Christian School. Texas Dentistry for Kids had a free raffle for 2 iPod Nanos.
Country Bible Church’s Worship & Community Paster Clark Terry DJ’d the event. Door prizes were given away, runners received oranges and bananas to refuel, families participated together in a fun family atmosphere and many non-KCS visitors came out to participate as well.
