Kelli Chadwick

2nd Grade

Hello! My name is Kelli Chadwick, and I am excited to be the 2nd grade teacher at Kaufman Christian School this year! I am a native Texan. I was born and raised in North Texas. I graduated from Carter Riverside High School in Fort Worth, received an Associates Degree from Tarrant County Junior College, completed a bachelor and master’s degree from Dallas Baptist University. I have 13+ years teaching in the non-profit sector, 6 years as a public-school teacher and am entering my first year as a private school teacher.

My husband, Matthew, and I have been married for 14 years and have 4 beautiful children. We live in Wills Point on Lake Tawakoni. We enjoy fishing, kayaking, playing board games and cooking together. We attend Lake Pointe Church in Forney.

I am looking forward to teaching the children how to refine their reading skills, sharpen their math skills, and how to conduct small science experiments in order to excite them in their pursuit of knowledge and to have fun as well!

Our class pledge is, “Honor God in everything I think, say & do, I will do more than I have to do, I will treat others as I want to be treated and I will try to become a better person.” My hope is that when students leave my class, they can say that they felt safe enough to break out of their comfort zones, they know how to challenge themselves and that they strive to become who God has created them to be.”
