Wendy Smith ~ 5th

Wendy Smith

Hello!  My name is Wendy Smith and I will be team-teaching fifth and sixth grades this year at KCS.  I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Bible and History from Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania and a Master’s Degree in Education from Concordia University in Austin, Texas.  I have been in Christian education since 1981 as both a teacher and administrator.

My husband Raymond and I live in Forney with our two dogs, Harley and Shelby.  We have two children, Wesley (34) and Amanda (31).  Wes and his wife Krys live a few blocks from us in Forney, where they take care of our two grand dogs, Lurch and Maverick.  Mandy lives in Woodward, Oklahoma, working as a medical assistant. We are members of Mission Church Forney. Both of our children attended Christian school from the time they were four until they graduated from high school.  They both had a solid education, grounded in the Word of God.  They have wonderful memories and lifelong friends from their experiences there.  My husband and I have been heavily involved in all the Christian schools I have been in and we look forward to serving the families of KCS.

In my spare time, I love to garden, do a variety of crafts, cook and bake.  I am looking forward to being with your children and helping them to master their subject materials based on a strong biblical worldview.  Thank you for allowing me to have a part in your children’s lives!
