Brandi Harris

Secondary Program Facilitator

Hello, I’m Brandi Harris. My husband, Jarred, and I have 2 boys and live in Kemp, TX where we have lived for 13 years. Both of our boys attend KCS. John is in the 8th grade and Jake is in the 4th. We have been at KCS for 4 years now and John also attended when he was in Kindergarten. We have always loved the ministry of KCS and how the staff pour into our children and our family. They are shaping the men, husbands and fathers they will become one day. We are also members at Country Bible Church.

I am passionate about families and am grateful to be able to serve your family as the KCS High School Facilitator. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2006. I worked for 6 years for the State of Texas where I received extensive training in working with children and youth. I left my full-time job in 2012 to be a stay at home mom. This allowed my husband and I to do ministry as we had always desired. In our previous church, we served as youth leaders for several years and my husband served as a deacon. I was also able to volunteer on the board of an after-school program located in Kemp, a campus advisory team at Kemp ISD, and as a member of the board of directors for our local community center. I also volunteered at Still Waters, a ministry located in Kaufman County, for many years and in 2017 I came on staff at Still Waters where I have been employed until now. I have been a Christian for over 20 years and am grateful for the work God has done in my life and the grace He has shown me.

I consider it a privilege and an honor to be able to assist your young adults in preparation for their futures. I will be meeting with the dual credit liaison at TVCC over this next week to ensure I have a good understanding of this process. I will be in the classroom for several hours this coming week as I transition out of my position at Still Waters and into this role at KCS. I am excited to love on your children and partner with you in their educational and spiritual growth.

Most of your children know my husband well as he attended the biblical world view conference with them this past fall. We consider this role as one we will serve as a family. Our boys are passionate about serving and Jarred enjoys your children so much.

We love our teachers! We love our staff too. Read more to see the faces of the people who will be greeting your children every day. Click to see more staff and faculty bios!
