Jr High and High School

Director of Secondary Program

Hello, I’m Brandi Harris! My husband, Jarred, and I have 2 boys and live in Kemp, TX where we have lived for 16 years. Both of our boys attend Kaufman Christian School. John is a Junior in high school and Jake is in the 7th grade. We have been at KCS for 7 years! We have always loved the ministry of KCS and how the staff pour into our children and our family. They are helping to shape the men, husbands, and fathers they will become one day. We are also members at Country Bible Church.

I am passionate about families and am grateful to be able to serve your family as the Director of Secondary Program. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2006. I worked for 6 years for the State of Texas where I received extensive training in working with children and youth. I left my full-time job in 2012 to be a stay at home mom. This allowed my husband and I to do ministry as we had always desired. In our previous church, we served as youth leaders for several years and my husband served as a deacon. I volunteered on the board of an after-school program located in Kemp, a campus advisory team at Kemp ISD, and as a member of the board of directors for our local community center. I also volunteered at Still Waters, a ministry located in Kaufman County, for many years and in 2017 I came on as staff at Still Waters where I was employed until I joined the KCS team.  I have been a Christian for over 20 years and am grateful for the work God has done in my life and the grace He has shown me.

I consider it a privilege and an honor to be able to assist your young adults in preparing for their futures. I am excited to love on your children and partner with you in their educational and spiritual growth. We also consider this role as one we serve as a family. Our boys are passionate about serving as are Jarred and I!
