Hello!! My name is Christy Butler and I am the administrator at Kaufman Christian School. I have been in education for 34 years and have been at KCS since 1995. I love the classroom and teaching math! I have the joy of teaching 6th and 7th grade math each day to amazing students! My degree, from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, is in Elementary Education with a minor in Language Arts. I love the joy and excitement that kids bring to our lives and I am thankful God called me to invest in the lives of kids and their families.

I am married to Tim, who is the Children’s and Youth Pastor and church administrator for Country Bible Church.  We have 2 daughters, Mattie and Mollie. Mattie is married to our son-in-law, Seth, and they have our grandbabies, Ellie Kate, who is 10 years old and in 5th grade at KCS, Calvin Thomas who is 6 and is in KG, Lille Mae who is 4, and Landrie Lynn who is 3.  Mollie is a Labor and Delivery nurse at Baylor University Medical Center and is married to our  son-in-law, Kaleb O’Bryant.  They are expecting their first baby this Fall.

Our family is actively involved in various ministries at Country Bible Church. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking, bargain shopping, and trips to First Monday in Canton. And, my special joy is being “Buzzy” to Ellie, Calvin, Lillie, and Landrie.
