1st Grade

Hi! I’m Jessica Keever and I am thrilled to teach first grade at KCS this year! I attended the University of North Texas and The University of Texas at Arlington where I received a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Literacy Studies. Before taking some time off from teaching when Hunter was born, I taught for 10 years and 9 of those years were in the fabulous 1st grade! I can’t wait to be back in the classroom where I can share God’s word and His love in all that we do.

My husband, Matt, owns Mow Pro’s and we live in Scurry and have five children! We attend C Life church in Kaufman and we can usually be found on the sidelines cheering on our kids in cheerleading, football, basketball, or volleyball. We enjoy traveling, visiting museums, going to plays, and camping (my husband says that what we do is actually called glamping, ha!).

I am so thankful to join the amazing staff at KCS and to share my passion and excitement for learning with my students. It is going to be a wonderful, fun and giggly year, filled with so much growth! KCS has been such a blessing to my family and I am ready to get started creating new memories and learning opportunities with my class. I am so thankful that the Lord blessed me with this position and it is going to be a great year!
