Sharlette Key

2nd Grade

Hello, my name is Sharlette Key, and it is my privilege to serve as the second-grade teacher for KCS.
I graduated cum laude with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies, from UT Dallas. I have taught for many years in lower elementary from Pre-K- 3rd  grade. This is my second year at KCS, I am excited to teach at a school that not only proclaims the name of Christ, but
I am able to teach about His love daily. My desire for each student is that they will love
to learn and want to be at school each day to take part in the process.  My husband, of 41 years, works as Office Manager for Jack Key Auto Transport in Dallas. We have 4 grown children, 2 super grandchildren, and one very fat “miniature” Dachshund named Max. We are active members of Ridge Pointe Fellowship in Dallas.  In my spare time I like to travel, work in the yard, read, and spend time with friends and family. Each week our entire family gathers on Sunday evening to share a meal together, that is my favorite thing to do, and I look forward to it each week.
