2nd Grade

Hi! My name is Kim Rogan and I am so excited to be teaching 2nd grade this year at Kaufman Christian School. This is my first year at KCS, 4th year in a Christian school, and my 21st year teaching. I was blessed to attend Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas where I received my psychology degree. After working in that field for many years, the Lord led me to go back  and get my teaching degree. This was one of the best decisions for me. I love kids and I love to teach! All curriculum leads back to the Lord and I am honored to be able to teach God’s word in all that we do in class.

I am married to my wonderful husband Bill who moved us back to Texas this summer after his job took us to Washington for a few years. We are thrilled that God led us to Canton and eventually KCS! My husband and I have 3 wonderful grown children who live all over the United States. Our oldest daughter, Lindsay, is in Washington with our 1st and only granddaughter, Freya, who just turned 15 months old. She is a firecracker and we couldn’t love her more. Our middle daughter, Gabby, graduated from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi with her engineering degree and currently lives in Las Vegas. Our youngest, Jacob, is serving in the Navy currently stationed in Massachusetts.
Thank you for allowing me to teach, lead and grow with your student.
